Morning light.

This hill is a classic one in Northfield. It's a murderously long snowmobile trail climb just out side of town. Still frozen corduroy conditions made it pretty bearable this morning. The light didn't hurt either!

Just curious: What kind of vibe do you get from the snowmobile crowd when they encounter fatbikers out on the trails?

I've never had a negative experience with snowmobile riders. I take great care to get off of the trail when I hear them coming, and I also go out of my way to talk to folks, wave, smile, and present the best image I can for the sport. It's worked phenomenally well, and I've had great conversations while out on the trail. Most people are amazed you can ride where they are, and their reaction to the bikes as equipment has been really good as well.
