Brutal! I would have been off the bike and walking about a quarter of the way up. Someday I will get to the point where I will give this a try.

Vito I would have to agree with your friend. This one was worth doing twice. It's on the very back side of this route, so the penalty is pretty minor.
I rode some hills today in Duluth that I did twice for just that reason.
What a cool climb! To hear the lungs gasping for air makes me feel like I'm not the only one this happens to.
