Here you go. The WHUB fixed. Would look killer with a matching front, don't you think? You'd literally have two identical wheels. That'd be fun. It's snowing and sub zero here currently. Looks like it's another afternoon for cleaning. Cheers.
Yup. Just give him a call. Your shop will have to have an account, but I'm guessing you have one already there. It's easy to get one if not. They are a little more expensive than the standard hubs, but not much. I'll be using a standard hub in the rear for my set, as I want to be able to freewheel as well. But as a fixie specific hub, drool.
Yes, it's an OS Blackbuck, I have two. I love them! The photo was just for testing purposes. I am running my Rawland as my mtb fixie now, this OS is going to be a normal SS.
The wheel pictured will eventually be on the front of my current project bike. The OS will get a similar set up though, with a Pofahl fillet brazed unicrown fork. The rear wheel for the OS will be a matching Paul SS disc rear wheel. That'll let me run disc/fixed/ss as I choose.
Due to a tire malfunction, the Rohloff'd mate to this wheel is a little out of sorts right now. Schwalbe should be getting me a replacement Big Apple soon, then it'll be back on the rollers.

Is that a Blackbuck? Tasty.
